About Busy Twist

The story behind the sounds

Busy Twist is the project of London-born producer and DJ Oliver Williams. Afro-electronic, Caribbean and Latin club music, made for the dancefloor.

For about 15 years he has travelled between Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and the UK, making records with musicians where they live. His label, Busy Life Music, exists to give overlooked underground artists a wider stage.

What the packs will include

Floor Excitement Vol. 1 is the first Busy Twist sample pack. It is built from his own original recordings, sounds and techniques, gathered over those years and drawn from productions like Floor Excitement / "1995", Labadi Warrior, Ski Chena, the Alewya productions and LDN PLNQ.

Later packs are planned, each with the story behind its sounds. Full contents, formats and price are still to be confirmed.
